Leng Tche - Hympomanic - 09.05.10

Akin to the likes of 07’s ‘Marasmus’, ‘Hypomanic’ will most likely suck in the die-hards that much, that they’ll utterly smash up their room with glee to the grind/death metal riffagery on offer here. Much alike 07’s kill-fest, this platter nicely mixes up the grind with the straight ahead death metal riffs; and proves a clever mix to entice both fan-base. There are some astonishing chapters awaiting fans for something fresh, too – ‘Corrosive Rotgut’, for one, offers some of the most brutal riffs and blast beats this savage Belgian quintet have ever produced. So detractors beware; they may well blow your underpants off.
